| Abstract |
The goal of the proposed poster is to present a virtual reality application which has been distributed according to the DoD High Level Architecture (HLA) standard. This application is a networked Tank game (Figure 1) which works over several implementations of the RTI (HLA software part - see below for more information) on a Beowulf Linux PC Cluster (8 Linux bi-processor PCs interconnected through a FastEthernet switch) as well as on networked PCs and workstations. Each computer controls one or several tanks either through human piloting or through Artificial Intelligence (AI) based behaviors (using classifier systems). We have the intention to show a demonstration of our application on a laptop computer provided that we can have access to an internet connection. |
